Activities to do while at the Lodge
Gorilla Trekking
Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park is the major done activity to visitors who staying at Singita Kwitonda lodge with over 486 endangered mountain gorillas with about 12 gorilla families which habituated for gorilla trekking in every day, and each gorilla family is visited by a maximum of 8 per day and each is required to have gorilla permit which cost $ 1500 per person per trek and we advise to book your gorilla permit at least five months in advance before the date of taking. For visitors, seeking to track gorillas in Uganda, this can be arranged.
Golden Monkey trekking
Travelers find it more interesting to do Golden Monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park while coming from Singita lodge. This is the most beautiful creature within the Park due to its striking colors. Golden Monkey trekking is normally carried out in morning hours and trekking permit cost $100.00 person per trek and we advise you to book your Golden Monkey permit in advance at least 4 months before the trekking day in order to avoid disappointment.
Dian Fossey

Climbing Volcano ranges
Singita Kwitonda lodge found in a good location to visitors who has an interest in climbing Karisimbi as among the three mountains ranges which tourist can hike to the top of the summit within the day. Gahinga and Muhabura hike does not require you a prior hiking experience whereas you required to be physically fit due to the high elevation of about 4,507 meters above sea level.

Getting to Singita Kwitonda Lodge
Singita Lodge straddles in Musanze about 2 to 3 hours’ drive from Kigali International Airport. To get here, you need a good and comfortable 4×4 safari car. You can also take a helicopter flight from Kigali Airport up to the Singita Helipad.
